A compilation of works that have been written (at least in part by) me. Truly just a space to flaunt the things I'm proudest of
Co-Writer - "Hulu Has the Drama You Want" TikTok Stunt
To launch Hulu's campaign highlighting their vast drama catalogue, my team at QYOU tapped into the social media world's most iconic source of drama: Influencers. We found some of the most dramatic creators around, from huge TikTok stars like Haley Baylee and Leenda Dong, to reality stars like Jonathon Johnson.
Our two-part series started with our creators complaining about their real-life drama and hoping to find an escape in Hulu's drama instead. Well, their wish comes true in part two when they get sucked into the worlds of Hulu's drama series (literally) and learn that they'd rather live through Hulu's drama than their own.
Co-Writer - Paradise Instagram Series
For one of Hulu's biggest titles of 2025, the QYOU team was entrusted to throw creators into the world of Paradise. Drawing on the mystery and intrigue of the series, we had 4 creators get invited to Paradise. However, before they could enter, they had to undergo a polygraph test to prove their online personas were accurate to their real skills. In another high-quality short film, we see their journey of discovering what Paradise is and if they'll accept their new roles in the world.
This one garnered so much attention, we even got a shoutout for our work in a Variety article :)

Co-Writer - Smile 2 TikTok Stunt
Following the massive success of our A Quiet Place campaign, Paramount once again enlisted my team at QYOU to produce a multi-part series promoting the new Smile 2 film. For this stunt, our Hero creator, Arianna Hailey, got the Smile curse. Throughout the stunt, she starts seeing creepy smiles in her life. Then, to stop herself from spreading the curse, she retires from social media; causing an uproar with her fans. Overcome by the curse, Arianna later did a livestream where she stared creepily into the camera for 20+ minutes before her friends came to save her. The stunt culminated in a high-quality short film that shows Arianna pass the curse on to one of her friends...

Co-Writer - A Quiet Place: Day One TikTok Stunt
As part of a collaborative marketing initiative, my team at QYOU worked with Paramount to create an original short-form series in support of the release of A Quiet Place: Day One. This viral 6-part stunt featured 5 posts with top creators on TikTok - each of them collaborating and being featured in each other's videos - and a finale short film. The results: almost 8 million views between the 6 posts!

Co-Writer - Scream VI TikTok Series
In another collaboration with Paramount, the Studios team at QYOU crafted a 4-part series following the next Ghostface victim - Ocky - a prominent influencer and bodega owner in NYC.
For this series, I helped to develop the concept, co-wrote the script/outline, and wrote all copy for the posts.

Co-Writer - Paramountal Activity
One of my first-ever projects at QYOU was to help manage & create content for the @ParamountScares channel. Besides filling their feed with posts almost daily and creating our own custom filter, we also produced an original 6-part series for the channel cleverly titled Paramountal Activity. In collaboration with David Brubaker, we put him into the worlds of iconic horror franchises.

Writer - Chapbook Magazine
During my second year of journalism classes, I worked on the student-run magazine at Chapman, "Chapbook". During the first month of the semester, I worked as a staff writer. In the height of the pandemic with online schooling, I created a piece that voiced the concerns of the student body - tuition costs. Definitely feels like a time capsule now, but you can read it here.
After this piece, I was promoted to Managing Editor. Because of this, I didn't author any other works, but I did oversee the production of our December 2020 issue - which has a lot of great pieces you can see here.
Co-Writer - The Panther
In a guest piece for the on-campus newspaper, "The Panther", I collaborated on a unique op-ed with my name twin. For context, there was another Megan Miller at Chapman during my 4 years there. We started the same year, graduated the same year, and coincidentally even had journalism classes together. It's one of my favorite pieces (and much love to the "other" Megan Miller <3)

Writer - Voice of OC
During my journalism studies at Chapman University, I was part of a partnership program with a local news outlet - Voice of OC. Their "Voice of OC Youth Media" program allowed college students to publish their works as part of their online new stories.
Across a few semesters, I wrote 2 pieces, the first being focused on the rising reports of sexual assaults across universities in southern California. For my first published work, I'm pretty proud of this one. You can read it here.
For the second piece, we focused on local governments and reporting on the city council meetings. For this piece, I got a super interesting topic - animal control in Garden Grove. While it's no Spotlight, it's not bad for a first time. Check it out here.
